Hogukrang and Pyeonghwarang

Characterized with reference both to the imposing figures of our patriotic generals of the past and to the future-oriented shapes, they intend to foster the patriotic spirits for visitors, and its overall curved shapes stand for escape from harsh reality of the Korean War and present a friendly impression to young visitors. Pyeonghwarang's shield represents peace and Pyeonghwarang highlights two conflicting images of gentle feminine image and strong female image.
