Article 12 (1) of the Automobile Management Act, Article 26, Article 27, and Article 28 of the Automobile Registration Decree, and Article 33 of the Automobile Registration Rules

Outline

A person who takes over a registered vehicle must apply for the ownership transfer registration of the vehicle to the Mayor/ Provincial Governor as prescribed by Presidential Decree. (Applications can be made at registration offices nationwide regardless of region, except for the registration of commercial vehicles and business vehicles by trading firms.)
